THE Special Task Force to Facilitate Business (Pemudah), in collaboration with the private sector, wants to achieve the top 10 position in the 2009 Doing Business Report by the World Bank.

International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Rafidah Aziz said under Pemudah's initiatives, Malaysia's ranking has improved from the 25th to the 24th position.

"The private sector must constantly engage, with the government to provide feedback.

"For this, I ask industry associations not to wait for the annual Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) Dialogue, but to do so regularly and at any time," she at the MITI-Private Sector Night in Kuala Lumpur last night.

Pemudah - a joint collaboration between the public and the private sector - was established in 2007 to facilitate business environment in Malaysia by improving the public delivery system.
