Expedites Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) From 3 Months
to 5 Weeks
The Department of Environment (DOE) has announced the
following improvements: |

| i. Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
approvals now reduced from 3 months to 5 weeks. |
| ii. Effective 1 June 2007, the DOE has
registered consultants who are competent to prepare the
Environmental Assessment Impact (EIA) report, in an effort
to avoid delays on the approval of the EIA. |
