KUALA LUMPUR: Pemudah, the country’s special task force dedicated to facilitate all aspects of doing business in Malaysia, has initiated a single number reference called MyCoID.
New Straits Times.

The number of judges is expected to be reduced gradually with the introduction of a new computerised system in courts. The courts will use the Court Management System (CMS), Court Recording Transcription (CRT), E-Filing, and Queue Management System (QMS).

Making it easier to do business goes a long way in ensuring the country remains competitive in an increasingly borderless world. One key factor is by improving the way the public sector delivers its services to businesses and commercial entities.

The overall index score for Malaysia improved to 77.162 as compared to 73.199 in the previous year. This it the highest index score recorded indicating the robust competitiveness environment of Malaysia.
The vast improvement in the taxation category has the lowest cost to export per container of just US$450, compared to a record high of US$3,000 in Afghanistan. Under the Cost to deal with construction permits, Malaysia also recorded a benchmark low of just 7.9% of income per capita.
With Pemudah’s establishment in February 2007, the Malaysia Inc concept has taken a huge stride forward. Ties between the private sector and the Government had been healthy, but with Pemudah, there is a formal and permanent channel for the business community to have a say in the enhancement of public service delivery.
